| From: Jacob K To: information@synergistsaddles.com Sent: Sunday, March 07, 2010 3:02 PM Subject: Web site inquiry... Hello Dave,
I bought a Synergist Saddle from you a few years back. It is a wonderful saddle and I wouldn't use any other. I recently bought a new horse and am wondering if you are still offering a one time refit? I cannot find my paperwork that listed the fee for this service. Would you be able to give me a price and time quote on having a saddle reworked? I was riding an Arabian (average build) and am now riding a Spotted Saddle Horse (Tennessee Walker). The saddle seems to fit my new horse well enough (no soreness, or slipping) but I'm just not sure?? I am wondering if my best bet is to order another Equa-fit pad. What are your thoughts on this? Attached is a photo of horse (Smokey Joe) and saddle. Many thanks to you for your help. Kathy K. Hi CJ, Just wanted to let you know I LOVE my new synergist saddle, It is very comfortable for me and more importantly, CHIP LOVES IT. He no longer bucks when we canter, his shoulders move freely!! He had his massage last week, it was the 1st time his back did NOT have a negative reaction to the touch. Thanks so much for the great saddle, it will be the last one we have to buy. Oh, and the black lacing looks great on the brown saddle, especially since he is a buckskin. It really brings out his black legs, mane and tail. Janet Spencer and Chip

Just wanted to wish you all a Merry Christmas! Am enjoying my newfound riding skills.... not that they are the greatest but your saddle gives me such a great seat now, not to mention the total comfort and freedom my horse is enjoying!!!!!!!!!!!! Will have to get you a picture of her tacked up so you can also see how complimentary it is to her!!!!!!! (of course she is beautiful to start with HAHAHA) I was wondering, I received your catalog a while back and of course was looking through it........... is that a picture of my saddle in there???? It is identical, right down to the stitching rather than the cheyenne roll! I was so tickled to see that and just thought hmmmmmmmm... could it be? Anyway, just a curious question. You all have a wonderful holiday, enjoy the snow... UGH... tired of plowing already LOL, glad the horses have long legs!!!!!! Thanks for everything and I'm spreading the word about your saddles!!! Good Evening CJ: I hope that you and your family had a wonderful Thanksgiving. I just wanted to drop you a quick note to let you know that I love my new Synergist Dressage saddle. Evidently, my horse also loves it as well. Having a custom made saddle has allowed a freedom of movement in his shoulders that I have never felt since I've owned him. I am not fighting for correct balance and posture, and because of that it is sooooo much easier to keep my hips open, follow his movement and ride more with my seat and legs. The irony of this story is that my horse is trained as a western pleasure mount, but has always carried his neck and head above level and now with his new saddle he carries is neck and head in a beautiful long and level manner and I can feel him reaching for the bit. My Synergist saddle was worth the investment. Gwen S. |

I've been meaning to email you to tell you how much I LOVE my saddle!! I've been on several trail rides now in addition to hacking around the property and taking lessons. My horse is happy, my tush is happy - all is good!I've been recommending you to everyone I hear say they want a good saddle! Thanks! Hi. I wanted to let you know that I received my saddle that you re-fit to my mare and it is working wonderfully. Thank you! Also, the Bickmore conditioner is a great product. It fixed the white fading in Charles's saddle where we had used the olive oil. I'm not sure why the olive oil faded out the dye of the leather, but the Bickmore conditioner restored it and the saddle looks great now. Neither of us has had any problems adjusting to the centered riding. I love the fact that these saddles do not girth up right under the elbow. I can't tell you how many cinches (and saddles) I've bought trying to find the right combination for Charles horse. The Billy Cook was too long and girthed up at the elbow, the two Ortho Flexes (one western, one a Patriot) just plain did not fit and were not comfortable to ride in because they perch you up too high over the horses back, and the SportsSaddle girthed up too close to the elbow (girth galls despite 5 different girths) and didn't have good stirrup placement for the rider. Finally, we are all happy and comfortable. It really is enjoyable now to go out for a ride. We live in a very small town, but when I get out to the rides, I will definitely share my opinion of how comfortable and how well your saddles fit. Best Regards,

Hi Dave & CJ-- I received my Synergist saddle last week and have only been able to ride it twice, but I already know that I LOVE IT! MY HORSE LOVES IT! My little gelding is so hard to fit, and your saddle fits him perfectly. His sweat pattern is perfect, and his shoulders are, for the first time, totally freed up. His walk is free and easy, and his gait is greatly improved. He just seems totally comfortable. I should have ordered one of your saddles years ago (I actually feel guilty, as I now know how uncomfortable my horse's shoulders must have been). So, thanks for such a beautiful saddle. Hullabaloo and I are happy campers! Karen Carson
| From: Kathy B. To: synergistsaddles@att.net Sent: Friday, May 23, 2008 7:00 AM Subject: Hi CJ! Good Morning CJ & all! I'm so sorry I haven't written this before ... however, I've been riding so much that time has slipped away from me! WELL.... the new saddle you made for my horse Page, I can't tell you how wonderful it is!!!! My gosh, if you remember she is the blue roan that is short backed and built like a garbage can... and I rolled and rolled and rolled no matter what I did, no matter what saddle I used. I had lost all confidence in my riding, feeling that I was the failure and was considering giving up. Mounting being the first problem, but not the biggest.... I was afraid to walk, trot and never had cantered her because I figured if I can't sit the walk, then no sense in gaining speed! Ooooooooooh my gosh, my world has changed 100% with the Synergist Saddle you made for me!!!!!!!!! IT FITS!!!!!!!!!!! (of course you knew that but I was so convinced that nothing would ever work) OMGOSH... I can ride now!!!!!!! What an amazing difference, even times where I go to dismount and the cinch is loose and I think WHEW good thing this saddle stays put! HAHAHAHA Ok, that was the human take on things. My horse Page is LOVING it! She no longer humps her back up, is no longer startled by me trying to constantly stay "on board", not as readily confused by me flouncing and bouncing around up there!!!!!!!!!!! She is now bringing her rear under rather than stretching out behind... she is soooooooooo much more comfortable! The poor thing, all I asked of her before and she allowed me the privilege to stay on her back... and she had to have been dreading every day under those other saddles. So to all of you that worked on this wonderful saddle I thank you from the bottom of my heart... and Page thanks you as well! For once I am not missing a riding season... and get this, the equine chiropractor gave Page a clean slate this time. She is generally kinked up but no more! (not unless I do something stupid hahahaha). You all were so wonderful, helped me tremendously in record time and I know that wasn't easy for you with all you have going on. Thank you Thank you Thank you!!!!!! Again... I should have sent this sooner but I'm having so much fun riding that I haven't taken the time..... Please feel free to use this letter as an endorsement as well. I am sure there are many many riders out there who have experienced the frustration I have over the years, and been unfair to their horse in the process. I may never be great at riding but now I stand half a chance and am enjoying myself more than I ever imagined... and my horse is so happy as well!!!!! You all have a wonderful weekend and again, thank you from the bottom of my heart!!!!!!! Kathy B. Beaver Dam, WI

I just wanted to let you know that I got the saddle yesterday, and as soon as I got home I tried it.
It is wonderful! I'm amazed at the quality, and it fits my little guy like a glove. After years of having poor fitting saddles, I finally feel confident that this is the one. I'm really looking forward to using it this weekend at Fort Robinson.
Thank you so much for going the extra mile to put the brown lacing on it. It looks great!
I won't hesitate to tell everyone I know about how great the quality of my Synergist is, and how great your service was.
Thanks again for everything.
PS. I do have one suggestion. Have you ever thought about putting a picture gallery on your website, with examples of some of the saddles that you've made?

I got my new saddle today!! I cleaned off the pony and tried it on... it seemed to fit her nicely so we did some free lounging in the arena to let her get used to it.. she did a couple of joyous bucks and came right back to me.. so I put on her bridle and off we went!!! We did about an hour ride as it was the first ride of the season ( I was waiting on the saddle:) and both of us, I am sure, will be a bit sore:) The saddle fit me like a glove!! I have plenty of room in front and behind.. I am afraid that if we would have gone with a 16inch it would have been too big anyway. After we were done I noticed that the saddle had slipped back a lot.. but I forgot my breast coller and I am sure it will mold to her as we ride more. I also noticed that my knees were in a lot of pain.. but, again, it was the first ride of the year.. so I oiled the heck out of the fenders and twisted them.. they should be fine tomorrow or the next day:) But my butt didn't hurt and my back didn't hurt and my hip never popped out!! *BIG GRIN*
Thanks again!! Once it molds to her and I get some pics, I will send you some:) Feel free to use me for a good reference if needed!
Have a great summer!!!
Chrissie Hood
P.S. Thanks for the great idea for a new training tool:) (the bubble wrap the saddle was wrapped in) LOL after I convinced her it wouldn't eat her...she played with it!! LOL
