Synergist Saddles' 1800 Series Period Saddles Features

All Series 1800's Period Saddles are made with traditional wood saddle trees and your choice of horn style and can be covered with rawhide or fiberglass. It's your choice!

NOTE: Although fiberglass had not even been invented in the 1800's and it's use is hardly authentic, fiberglass covered trees have become very popular because of the extra strength it adds to the saddle tree and fiberglass' ability to repel moisture.

Synergist Saddles offers a wide choice of saddle horn styles for an equally wide array of purposes. One of these will surely be ideal for you.

Depending on options, all of our 1800's Series Period Saddles weigh in somewhere between 34 to 45lbs because we use heavier saddle leather than our other custom Western trail saddles.  

Of course, all Synergist 1800's Series Period saddles can also be optionally fitted and customized with the same exclusive comfort features as our Traditional Western Saddles including fender slots, thigh pockets, jean seams and seat-bone depressions. The saddle won't be completely authentic anymore (comfort wasn't much on saddlers' minds way back then), but your new saddle will be a lot more comfortable. It's up to you!
