Synergist custom saddles logoGreg Pryor

to Greg Pryor on his remarkable 2005 endurance riding season!

Greg Pryor?s AERC Endurance Riding Season 2005

  • 1470 miles overall
  • 1st Heavyweight West Region*
  • 7th West Region Overall
  • 2nd National Heavyweight Pioneer Award
  • 8th National Mileage Award
  • 6th National Husband and Wife Team

* Heavyweight division starts at 210 pounds, Greg weighs in at 270 pounds with tack.

Greg  Pryor and SQR Qamaar rode all 1470 miles of the 2005 AERC ride season with the  Synergist Saddle. Greg has been using the Synergist Saddle exclusively over the horse's career. Cyndee Pryor, Greg's wife, uses the same saddle, and their third backup saddle is a Synergist as well.

Greg's horse has always been difficult to fit and with 270 pounds on SQR Qamaar's  back, it's extremely important to have a good fit. Qamaar's back tends to be hollow behind the withers so we use a thick sheepskin next to his skin with a saddle blanket over that. Greg's horse stays sound, and is always eager for the next mile down the trail.
